We live in a society and in a time that is characterized by high pace and unrest, but in the subject of Drawing we slowly gear down and experience tranquility for contemplation.

Drawing is part of the classical education: Man is a creative being, and drawing also expresses an aesthetic search, which can be expressed in a wide variety of ways.

Each class begins with theory and good exercises. After that, we will give ourselves time to immerse ourselves in classic drawing techniques. We will train our eye to see details we haven’t noticed before and translate that into freehand drawing. At the same time as the theory of image composition and perspective, you will learn how you can practically work with shading, create the illusion of three-dimensionality and surface texture. We will create our own drawings that are independent works, but we will also examine the art of drawing in an art historical perspective and get inspiration from great Danish and international artists – from contemporary illustrators, such as Jesper Ejsing to the Renaissance’s Leonardo da Vinci!
