Building class

In the building class, we combine hand and spirit in the best possible way to construct, level and repair things. Whether you’re already a skilled hobby craftsman or can’t tell the difference between a hammer and a screwdriver, here you can create something with your hands – and it’s deeply satisfying! The term “formation” was coined by the German art historian Winckelmann and denotes precisely creating. Before the industrial production of furniture, the craftsmen “souled” their furniture, when they put a part of themselves into what they created.

The subject is perfect for those who want to use their hands, but also for those who want a break from the more bookish classes.

Over time, we have built everything from the interior of the school’s disco “The Cave”, to a pétanque court, to a large outdoor terrace and much more. It is only our creativity that limits, everything else we learn along the way.

In the future, you will therefore be well equipped to move away from home without having to constantly call mum and dad for help putting up pictures, assembling furniture or carrying out minor repairs in your home. Because you can do it yourself!

Did you know?

All morning assemblies or common classes at Rønshoved will be intrepeted to english!
