Jakob Plum Philipsen

Teacher

Jakob graduated as a psychologist from Aarhus University in 2022, with a particular interest in existential psychology.

Beyond psychology, his great passions include outdoor life, literature, and philosophy. He has hiked across most of Denmark, often carrying a good book and a fishing rod in his backpack. He has also spent a month hiking alone in Norway. Deeply connected to nature, he is passionate about sustainability.

You will often find him with a book in hand, preferably by one of his favorite authors: Dostoevsky, Michel Houellebecq, Henrik Pontoppidan, or Thomas Mann.

Jakob has a small garden allotment in Sønderborg, where he grows vegetables, generates electricity from his solar panels, and tends to his garden with a view of Dybbøl Mill.

He grew up on a farm near Sønderborg and spends his free time playing badminton at Dybbøl Badminton Club.
