Henrik Holsteen Jessen

Teacher

Henrik graduated from Aabenraa in 1973 and earned a Master of Science degree from Aarhus University in 1980, majoring in mathematics with a minor in physics.
He taught at Grenaa Gymnasium from 1980 to 1986 before returning to Southern Jutland and Aabenraa Statsskole.

“It is a privilege to work with young people who embrace the challenges of mathematics and physics, but also to support those who struggle with these subjects.
Regardless of skill level, solving a mathematical problem should ideally be both enjoyable and engaging.”

Henrik never shies away from a good discussion—whether it concerns the role of faith in our time, the relationship between Denmark and Germany, or the significance of the EU.
He has completed 12 marathons and cycled from Aabenraa to Rome.
