Poetry

Do you like writing poetry? Whether you would like to write a song for a special occasion, introspective, modern poetry, political poetry or pastiches and parodies of famous poems, you are welcome to join us in this duty teacher offer, Poetry. Here you can experiment with words, explore your creative side and find out whether poetry is something for you. You can also bring along some poetry yourself, if you wish to, and use the opportunity to study some of the greatest poets of all time. So come and join us on Wednesday night! Poetry is not as scary as it looks, and it is not just an art form for the select few – it is an art that can add something to all our lives!
